Joshua has proved himself to be a Jamaican fine artist influenced, but not defined by his tropical origins. A 1978 graduate of the Jamaica School of Art, who continues to specialize in painting and drawing. Joshua Higgins works are widely collected and can be found in private collections in Africa, Japan, China, Latin American,  Caribbean, Canada,  Europe, United States, Global Corporations, Bank Collections , Corporate Offices and Universities.

Joshua is currently using his experience to explore the assimilation his art with fabrics, laser and 3D technologies to further his capabilities as a creator.

Currently, Joshua  independently prints and quality controls his fine art reproductions  using Epson technology.

The inks are UltraChrome HD® next-generation pigment ink technology, which are independently rated by Wilhelm Imaging Research.   The  paper cold press bright, which is acid free, ph buffered, 100% cotton rag media with a bright textured finish.

Higgins has constantly been promoting change to the fabric of Jamaican society through his practice and will influence artists for generations to come.
